LOUIS
EMMITT-STERN

Louis won Soho Theatre's Tony Craze Award in 2021 for his debut full-length play SLIPPERY, currently in development for full production.

 

His play I FUCKED YOU IN MY SPACESHIP received a sold-out premiere at VAULT Festival 2023, winning the Origins Award for Outstanding New Work. I FUCKED YOU IN MY SPACESHIP subsequently transferred to Soho Theatre, London for a three-week run. Louis was called  'a rising star playwright' by Time Out. The play is published by Nick Hern Books

 

Louis' other work has been performed at Watford Palace Theatre, Southwark Playhouse, The Pleasance Islington, Ivy Arts Centre, LAMDA, and supported by Farnham Maltings. He trained at Guildford School of Acting, and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and is an alumnus of the Gibraltar Academy of Music and Performing Arts, Soho Theatre Writers Lab, Soho Writers Alumni Group, National Theatre Young Playwrights Programme, and Young Lyric Directors Course at Lyric Hammersmith.
