Louis is a Gibraltarian playwright, director, and theatre-maker based in London. He trained at Guildford School of Acting, graduating with a First Class BA (Hons). He is an alumni of the Gibraltar Academy of Music and Performing Arts.
Louis play Slippery won the Tony Craze Award 2021, and is currently in-development with Soho Theatre, London.
As a playwright, his work has been performed at Pleasance Theatre Islington, Watford Palace Theatre, Southwark Playhouse, and Ivy Arts Centre. His monologue, Laura, was shortlisted for The Pleasance Young Playwrights Award 2018, and his play All The Blue Areas received a Farnham Malting’s ‘No Strings Attached’ arts grant in 2019.
He took part in Lyric Hammersmith's Young Lyric Directors Programme, the year-long young playwrights programme at the National Theatre, Soho Theatre Writers Lab, and Soho Writers Alumni Group.
Louis was a finalist for HM Government of Gibraltar Cultural Awards 2021.
He is completing his MFA in Playwriting at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London.
