LAURA

LAURA

By Louis Emmitt-Stern

“I should be worrying now. Why am I not worrying? Why am I not sad"

Laura’s home from work. Laura is hungry. Laura has something to say.

A monologue play exploring harsh decision-making in a world of celebrity subcultures and rising temperatures, Laura was shortlisted for The Pleasance Young Playwriting Competition. It subsequently premiered downstairs at The Pleasance, Islington, on 18 December 2018, directed by Andrew Pritchard, performed by Renee Bailey.
